Whether you’ve just arrived or spent the day touring, the
Wine Social is the perfect opportunity to share experiences
of the day, browse menus of great restaurants, and get to
know the local flavors of the Valley. What better way to do
this than with a wine sample poured by one of the world
class wineries of the Valley.

The Jessup Story
Jessup Cellars is the classic combination of great fruit meeting a great winemaker. The Cellar “star” behind Jessup Cellars is winemaker and Napa Valley native Mark Jessup. Mark learned his craft Inglenook Winery in Rutherford, and then later joined the world renowned Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville. Eventually, Mark became part of the team that made the early Opus One wines, the first joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Jessup left Mondavi in 1994, and opened Jessup Cellars in 1996.
Jessup grows all of the fruit it uses in its wines. Varietals include Chardonnay, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Port, and the legendary “Table for Four”, which is a Cabernet based blend.
In lieu of filtering, Jessup Cellars’ wines are hand-racked. This “gentle” winemaking technique produces soft, flavorful wines in which the fruit shines. Jessup produces approximately 5,000 cases of wine per year.
