2019 Spring Blooms in the Napa Valley

2019 was an extraordinary year for rainfall in Northern California. Local residents became casual with the term “atmospheric rivers” as they watched the sky simply open up like a river. The rivers and streams filled with the precious rainwater and the fields and vineyards absorbed every drop they could hold. Now as spring warmth fills the valley the trees and plants are showering visitors with a stunning show of color.

To celebrate this amazing year we took a few minutes to drive a short distance from Wine Country Inn to see the mustard fields and magnolias. We stopped at Ehlers Estate and filmed the mustard and wildflowers and then turned back south towards St. Helena and stopped at Beringer to film the blooming magnolias. To wrap up the day we continued south for a few miles to Oakville and turned right to climb up out of the valley to the base of the Mayacamas Mountains. From this vantage point, we filmed the vineyards that surround Oakville, Yountville, and Rutherford.

This is a great year to visit Wine Country Inn and enjoy a beautiful spring adventure.
