Afternoon Stroll In Yountville, California
Although the Napa Valley is famous for its wines and quaint wineries, there is a second side of the valley that centers on beautiful little towns with parks, gardens, winding creeks, and of course amazing restaurants.
The little town of Yountville is located about 20 minutes from Wine Country Inn and can be accessed by taking back-roads through the vineyards. Once you arrive in Yountville you can start your stroll from any side of town and wander down the beautifully maintained trails and gardens. Take a moment to walk through The French Laundry culinary garden or stop for a minute next to the fountain at Van De Leur park. No matter where you turn there are new little pathways leading back to gardens and shops, tasting rooms, and great little deli’s to get a sandwich to take back to that perfect bench under the oaks.
Returning home to Wine Country Inn is simple… just head north of town and turn right onto Yountville Creek road, cross the Napa River and head back north on the Silverado Trail. You will be home and sitting on your room’s deck in 20 minutes.
